LWVGE Statement regarding Village of Glen Ellyn Town Hall election concerns

The League of Women Voters of Glen Ellyn was alerted to an incident of one of the candidates running for Village Trustee being intimidated by a village resident to withdraw their name from consideration at the upcoming town meeting.   This behavior is unacceptable and has no place in our community.  It was plain and simple an attempt to influence the outcome of the town meeting.
