Election Judges
DuPage County is looking for election judges!
To qualify as an Election Judge, an applicant must:
be a citizen of the United States;
be a registered voter in DuPage County;
be of good repute and character;
be able to speak, read and write the English language;
be skilled in the four fundamental rules of arithmetic (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication)
be of good understanding and capable;
not be a candidate for any office at the election
not be an elected committeeman.
Illinois Statutes require bipartisan representation in the polling place. An individual must declare the party he/she wishes
Pay: $130 base pay plus $30 for Judges that complete training and mileage to those Judges who return supplies to the Election Division
Hours: Election Day starting at 5:00 am until approximately 9:00 pm

College Judges of Election
Illinois Statutes provide the opportunity for individuals who are not entitled to vote to be appointed as a Judge if they are currently enrolled in a community college or a public or private Illinois university or college and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 apply here
High School Judges of Election (First Judge)
Illinois Statutes provide the opportunity for high school juniors and seniors who are not entitled to vote to be appointed as Judges if they live in DuPage County and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. If you are 16 years old or older, apply here
