Running Our Local Public Schools in a Time of Political Change

LWV Nov 16 event.jpg

Our next community program will explore the effects of recent political developments on our local public schools, including but not limited to Illinois’ recent school funding reform. What financial impact will the controversial tax credit scholarship program and other provisions of this new law have on our Glen Ellyn public schools? How might changes in federal education policy and other legal developments affect our local public school students? Speakers include school administrators from D41, D87 and D89, the Regional Superintendent of Education Darlene Ruscitti, and other local education experts.
