Understand the importance of a township mental health board as we learn about the Youth Network that is sponsored by the Bloomingdale Twp 708 Mental Health Board. This is of particular interest for Milton Township citizens as we evaluate the ballot measure in the April 6th election that would provide funds to set up a 708 Mental Health board here as well.

The webinar will feature a presentation by Dr. Brenda Huber, PhD, ABPP, and professor at Rush University Medical Center who will help us understand how this new network will be foundational to the community's social service system and serve the social and emotional well-being of our youth. The Bloomingdale Township’s Youth Network is funded by the Bloomingdale Township Community Mental Health Board.

Dr. Huber has spent the last ten years of her career helping communities in Illinois ensure the systems that support the wellness of our youth are efficient and effective. Dr. Huber facilitates collaboration among area educational, social service, healthcare, mental health, and juvenile court systems to identify and eliminate any barriers, duplication, and/or gaps.

Dawn Arimura and Dominick Lanzito, Chairperson of the Bloomingdale Township Community Mental Health Board will be joining Dr. Huber for our event.

Members of the public who are interested in the wellness of our community’s youth are welcome to attend this free and thought-provoking evening learning from our webinar presenters.
