In person. Presented by Glen Ellyn Park District and Go Green Glen Ellyn. Celebrate Illinois oaks and discover fascinating facts about these majestic trees while engaging in a variety of family-friendly activities. LWVGE is participating as a vendor to help Get Out The Vote!

• Observe an oak tree planting demonstration.
• Practice yoga with Kristin Malone.
• Learn recycled paper making with SCARCE.
• Enjoy live music from School of Rock.
• Watch prescribed burn demonstrations.
• Get your face painted.
• Enjoy apple cider and cider donuts for purchase.
• Decorate wooden bookmarks, courtesy of Glen Ellyn Public Library.
• Participate in the Oaks-are-a-Treasure Hunt.
• Challenge yourself on an acorn obstacle course.
• Take part in a guided nature walk.
• Try your hand at an acorn toss.
• Unleash your creativity with a tree art project.
• Donate canned goods for Glen House Food Pantry.
• Play platform tennis with equipment and brief instruction provided (first come, first served).
• Purchase OAKtoberfest beer from Two Hound Red (21+).
