League of Women Voters of Glen Ellyn Announces Winners of Democracy Challenge Creative Expression Contest at Glenbard West
May 3, 2024--Glen Ellyn, Illinois – The League of Women Voters of Glen Ellyn ( LWVGE) awarded prizes to high school students at Glenbard West and South for the 2nd Annual Charlotte Swett Walter Democracy Challenge Award. Democracy Challenge Award Winners
2023 inaugural Charlotte Swett Walter Democracy Challenge Awards were given to Emily Puchalski, Glenbard South Junior for “ Democracy- Fragile Like Glass” and to Angie Abraham, Glenbard West sophomore for “ Every Voice Matters”. This Award is named after long time LWVGE member Charlotte Swett Walter.
