We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for another wonderful League season kickoff at the Lake Ellyn VOTEhouse on August 15th! The energy and enthusiasm you all brought made this event truly special.

During the event, we had the honor of hearing from Sania Irwin, Vice President of the League of Women Voters of the United States (LWVUS). She reminded us of the critical cornerstones of democracy that we need to fight for and inspired us with practical ways we can all contribute to these efforts. Her insights were not only motivating but also a powerful reminder of the impact we can have when we work together.

We are also thrilled to welcome our new members who joined us at the kickoff! Your decision to be part of our League strengthens our community and our ability to make a difference. Together, we will continue our work in advocating for voter rights, civic education, and transparent governance.
