Attendees will hear from esteemed judges who have dedicated their careers to upholding justice in DuPage County. The event will provide valuable information on the role of the judiciary, the challenges faced by judges, and the importance of maintaining an impartial and fair legal system.

Speakers:

Hon. Bonnie Wheaton
Judge Bonnie Wheaton serves as the Chief Judge of the 18th Judicial Circuit in DuPage County. With 36 years on the bench, she has extensive experience in various divisions, including Traffic, Misdemeanor, Law, and Chancery. A graduate of Carleton College and Northern Illinois University College of Law, Judge Wheaton has presided over cases that have shaped the legal landscape in the region.

Ret. Hon. Tom Dudgeon
Tom Dudgeon, a former Associate Judge of the 18th Judicial Circuit, has had a distinguished career in law and education. After earning his law degree from Drake University, he served as a trial attorney and later became a judge, presiding over various court divisions in DuPage County. He was instrumental in developing nationally recognized programs in family law. Since retiring, he has taught Constitutional Law and American Federal Government at local universities.
